Lens of Truth

Grant description

Lens of Truth will bring real world investigative photography into the high school classroom by providing Law Enforcement and Forensic Science students with professional-quality camera equipment. Students will use the cameras to document simulated crime scenes, photograph evidence, and practice the skills investigators use to accurately capture and preserve details. Through hands-on scenarios, students will develop critical thinking, observation, and technology skills while exploring careers in law enforcement, forensic science, and public safety. This project transforms learning from simply reading about evidence to actively documenting and interpreting it—helping students see how a single image can tell the story and reveal the truth.
