Grant description

This grant will provide two class sets of individual tuners for band students. Tuners are essential tools for helping students develop accurate pitch, intonation, and independent practice skills. With individual access, students can receive immediate feedback, learn to recognize when they are sharp or flat, and make adjustments on their own. The tuners will be used during daily rehearsals, sectionals, and individual practice. This project will strengthen musicianship, build student confidence, and improve overall ensemble performance while providing durable resources that can be used for years.
