The Quiet Riot: Silent Discos for Loudly Good Choices will bring an exciting new reward to our 1st grade classroom! Students will earn opportunities to participate in a silent disco by demonstrating positive behaviors such as following directions, staying focused, showing kindness, helping others, and making responsible choices. Using wireless headphones, students can dance and enjoy music together without disrupting other classrooms or learning. This unique reward will motivate students while encouraging self-regulation, responsibility, teamwork, and a positive classroom culture. We want to show our students that making good choices can be fun—and that sometimes the best celebrations are the quietest ones!
