From Creative Vision to Creation- The Decatur Theatre Design Lab

From Creative Vision to Impact will transform how Decatur Theatre students imagine, design, create, and share their work. The Decatur Theatre Design Lab will provide digital technology, a large-format printer, and professional design tools. Students will sketch and digitally render scenic, costume, and hair and makeup concepts; photograph and print realized designs; and create posters, publicity materials, and professional presentations for productions, UIL Theatrical Design, campus displays, student showcases, and community outreach. From first idea to finished product, students will develop creativity, collaboration, technical skills, and career-ready experience while sharing their work throughout Decatur.
