Grant description

What does it take to design an escape room? Our Enis Eagles will find out firsthand through a STEM education experience that brings science, technology, engineering, and math to life. Students will get a behind-the-scenes look at how puzzles and technology are used to build an escape room. Then, in small teams, they’ll enter a themed room and put their own skills to work—cracking codes, solving problems, and communicating to complete their mission. A classroom activity will help them connect the experience to real-world uses of STEM. This grant will give 68 DISD students a memorable chance to learn by doing and discover what they can accomplish together.
