Our Ag Mechanics students learn best by doing! A wood planer will allow them to transform rough lumber into smooth, usable boards for projects such as furniture, storage chests, and shelving. Students will gain real-world experience in measuring, preparing, and finishing materials just as they would in a professional shop. This tool will not only improve the quality of their projects but also teach them attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in their work. More than 102 students each year will benefit as they prepare for careers in carpentry, construction, and related trades.
