The Art of Character Grant will provide Decatur Middle and High School Theatre students with professional-grade theatrical makeup, enabling both programs to finally teach a full makeup unit. Without proper supplies, students have been unable to fully explore character creation, transformation, and stagecraft. This grant will give them the tools to develop practical skills, enhance performance quality, and engage more deeply in theatre, fostering creativity, confidence, and lifelong appreciation for the art of theatrical storytelling.
