The Tools of the Trade

Impact: All Band students

Having the right tools for the job at hand can often be the difference between success and failure. For tradesmen it's their tools, painters their paints and brushes, and for our percussionists it's the sticks and mallets they use. We have been blessed to furnish sticks and mallets for most of our percussionists in the past but many are growing worn out from use. This grant would replace those sticks and mallets with high quality, professional equipment. Each stick and mallet option was chosen to be both the highest quality, the same equipment that professional musicians use, and purpose driven to meet any musical challenge that may arise. With this equipment our students are using the same quality gear as the pros.
