Muddy Buddies and Plushie Pals

Grant description

McCarroll 7th grade art students will partner with 2nd and 3rd graders from the STEM Academy at Enis Elementary to collaborate on visual art projects. Students will work together in 3 stages: 1. Find common ground and design 2 plushies or 2 clay containers through a communication/interview process. (two that match for the partners) 2. Students will then work together to build the plushie or container using fabric, fiber fill or clay, hand-building techniques. 3. Students will display partner artworks at the District Art Show in May 2027, with an artist statement. The purpose of this grant would be to work cross-curricular and cross-campus
